Leicester Synagogue, Leicester

Client: Leicester Hebrew Congregation

The refurbishment to a Grade II-listed building

The refurbishment to the Grade II-listed building was delivered under a Heritage Lottery Funded scheme and included an extension to link the two original buildings. Gateley RJA provided Quantity Surveying services on the scheme and were pleased to have worked with Stephen George & Partners and PRP UK. The architecturally interesting project required a sympathetic design to merge the existing buildings. The completion of the project means worship can continue and the public will be able to access the new educational rooms in this historical building in the heart of Leicester.
